What is a Peruloosa Horse ?

Peruloosa is a word I coined to describe the cross between my Peruvian mares and an Appaloosa stallion to produce spotted, gaited babies. All of the babies so far, seem to have a gentle disposition, and a flashy gait. When weaned they will be offered for sale, call now to reserve your baby now. Will probably be registered as Walkaloosas and/or Tiger horses.

EastOWest Inheritance

This guy is the sire of the babies listed below. This young stallion is just starting to produce lovely babies from several breeds of mares. He comes from some old foundation Appy lines that have produced gait. He is not a large horse, but is about the size of my Peruvians, probably about 15-15.5 hands. He has a gentle disposition. Bubbles

She is such a sweetie, loves back rubs. This is her baby picture, but she looks completely different now. Her chestnut color is fading and she has freckles all over her face. She may be a leopard by spring. Will try to post more current pictures soon.

Cybeck

This guy is handsome as well as arrogant. One of his eyes is blue which adds to his distinct color. His color is holding true so far.

Don Perriez

Look how much he looked like his sister Bubbles at birth. Now she is turning more white/leopard, and he is turning a darker chestnut. It will be interesting to see what he looks like next spring. He has beautiful head set and presence.

This girl was our little "Surprise" baby, but look how she turned out! She didn't come out spotted (yet) but look at that body on her. You won't be able to tell her from a purebred Peruvian.
