Please join us with all our fun adventures.
At this camp we have many activities planned.
Our main activity will be learning how to train and work with alpacas. We have experts teaching your children such as Linda Lundstrom, head mistress and owner of Zodiac Ranch, and head counselor, Soraya <Grace> Osanloo. Your child will have an opportunity to get in touch with nature, and learn about life on the farm.
Here are some of the activities we have planned.
Learn about alpacas
Learn to walk with an alpaca on a lead
Practice taking your alpaca going over jumps.
Bring a Sack Lunch, (we had a bonfire last year, but we may be limited to outside fires because of the dry weather this year.
Spend time with Ginger the pony
Learn to brush the pony
Take a pony ride.
Learn about the fiber made by sheep and alpacas.
Make a fiber project with needlefelting or wet felting.
Free time for making a fort in the hay room or a tent.
Hours will be 11-3 , parents/grandparents can choose to stay or not.
Ages should be at least 7 years old, and the day will be limited to only 8 kids.
And best of all, it is all free, just a fun day with the kids.
